Lụm được một tập tài liệu về lịch sử xe máy. Post lên đây để anh em chúng ta cùng tham khảo. Rất tiết là không có thời gian để lược dịch nên chỉ post bảng gốc thôi, anh em thông cảm.

Theo lời giới thiệu thì xe gắn máy cũng như xe hơi xuất hiện ở Châu Âu vào cuối thế kỷ thứ 19. Sự xuất hiện này cũng ngẫu nhiên vì lúc đó động cơ hơi nước cũng vừa được phát minh. Người ta gắn một động cơ hơi nước nhỏ vào khung của xe đạp.

Chiếc xe máy đầu tiên do cha con nhà Pierre Michaux phát minh năm 1868, bánh xe bằng sắt, động cơ gắn ngay dưới yên ngồi (kiểu này khét hết xúc xích còn gì (:- ) bàn đạp gắn ở phía trục bánh trước (bây giờ xe trẻ con vẫn còn dùng!)...
